So, it's only been two days and we've already had tons of adventures. What have been highlights so far and what are you looking forward to as the conference really gets going?
Wow, early mornings are pretty tiring, but all of the work that we do is pretty exciting, I hope that we can finish everything on time or even earlier. I can't wait to see the final products.
This morning has been interesting. Brett and I toured the hotel for our feature and got some cool footage. We managed to find our way to the top floor and found a few rooms that creeped us out. This hotel is proving to be more unique as we find out more and see more of this beautiful place.
Finally off the anchor desk. It is amazing how tired you can feel after doing almost nothing for so long. The few conversations I had with the people who visited the desk were excellent though, they made my day, as well as foamy rockets :D.
It is a big change from my other eJournalism experiences. The other times, I never had such a slow day. The first eJournalism experience was so busy that you almost never had any breaks. This time it seems that it is almost slower, but I haven't been in the middle of the excitment, I have a funny feeling that as soon as I finish posting this, I 'll be so busy, I'll take my comment back.
In amongst the majestic landmarks of the nation's capital, the tulips accentuate every image. Around many corners, the unexpected sightings of personnes celebres add excitement to each step. Three magnificent days in Ottawa in great and enthusiastic company...!
The whole weekend experience for me was great fun! Nish, Karly and I created a production team for our feature called NISHOHAWKK PRODUCTIONS! Totally looking forward to create and finish the feature!
I'm definitely going to forever remember saving Tal Tal, Brett, and Nathan from the midnight visitors... Oh and definitely going to remember the labyrinth to the pool.
I don't really have one main highlight for this trip. I loved the tours we went on and just getting to do different things on down time. I hoped that we would meet all of our deadlines (which i believe we did most of the time), and create some really awesome projects. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the features!
Memories so far have been many, I am enjoying getting to know all my newfriends better. Also Iam loving the sight seeing. It is beautiful here. I have learnt so much technologically and socially. It was cool seeing Harper today.
This trip so far has been amazing! I loved all of our tours on bike and on boat, and i still can't believe we're in Ottawa! This city is so beautiful i'm positive i could live here. So many memories have been made, and i know i will never forget this trip!
For me, the highight has been meeting Brian Mulroney! It was surprising and exciting! I can't wait to see what the students come up with!

Love technology...and hate it! George Siemens was awesome and made us think about how we need to work hard on using technology in smart ways.

Working in the board room at Chateau Laurier and then starting to think about who else might have worked in the same room.

I think that today is going to be quite a good day. If I could stay any longer I would, I love living in Ottawa. Who knows what waits for us today.
